DUI arrests

? John Edward Evenson, 47, of the 7500 block of Captiva Boulevard, Fort Myers, was arrested Tuesday by Cape Coral police in Lee County. He was additionally charged with refusing to submit to a DUI test.

? David Barry Gardner, 32, of Lehigh Acres, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday at Vanderbilt Beach and Livingston roads.

? James P. Linus, 24, of the 23000 block of Merano Court, Bonita Springs, was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol troopers Tuesday near mile marker 114 on Interstate 75. He was charged with two counts of DUI, one with property damage.

? Delvys R. Machado, 27, of Miami, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday at 10996 Winterview Drive. He was also charged with driving with an invalid license.

? John Michael Snyder, 33, of the 17000 block of Miami Boulevard, Fort Myers, was arrested Tuesday by Cape Coral police in Lee County. He was additionally charged with possession of paraphernalia and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.

Drug arrests

??Carlos E. Then, 20, of the 100 block of Vintage Bay Drive, Marco Island, was arrested by Marco Island police Tuesday at 51 Bald Eagle Drive. He was charged with possessing a controlled substance.

Other arrests

? Kristine Anne Clark, 31, of the 27000 block of Pierce Avenue, Bonita Springs, was arrested Tuesday by Lee deputies at the Sheriff’s Office Substation, 8951 Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs. She was charged with knowingly making a false report to law enforcement. She is accused of reporting her 2002 Mercedes Benz stolen. Her boyfriend said she knew he had the car.

? Danny Vincente Andrade, 39, of the 21000 block of Berwich Run, Estero, was arrested Tuesday by Lee deputies in Lee County. He was charged with false statement to unemployment. Details were not immediately available.

Grand theft arrests

? Joshua Wayne Woodward, 32, of the 4600 block of Sunset Road, Golden Gate, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday in the 4900 block of Golden Gate Parkway. Woodward was charged with grand theft, a report said, after attempting to steal a $499 TV from Kmart.

DUI arrests

? Albert Lee Layne, 52, of the 1900 block of 48th Street Southwest, Golden Gate, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday on Immokalee Road. It was Layne’s third violation in more than 10 years.

? Layne Derek Perkins, 41, of the 500 block of Devils Lane, Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday in the 2400 block of U.S. 41 North and charged with driving under the influence, causing property damage and leaving the scene of a crash.

Drug arrests

? Nicole Danelle Morgan, 35, of the 2600 block of Weeks Avenue, North Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday at the intersection of Airport-Pulling and North roads. Morgan was charged with possession of three oxycodone pills.

? Ulises Alfredo Ceballos, 39, of the 2100 block of 47th Ave. Northeast in Naples, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at home on charges of commiting domestic battery by strangulation. He is accused of fighting with his wife, pushing her repeatedly onto the sofa and then grabbing her with both hands by the throat to choke her.

? Melissa Lea Zumbado, 36, of the 5500 block of Jonquil Lane in Naples, was arrested Wednesday by Collier deputies and charged with battery for intentionally causing bodily harm to another person. She is accused of attacking and scratching a man’s face after being told she could no longer live in his apartment.

? Jonathan Arreaga, 21, of the 3100 block of Safe Harbor Drive in Naples, was arrested Thursday by Collier Deputies at 1115 Trail Terrace Drive in Naples and charged with battery for touching/striking another person against their will. He is accused of punching his ex-girlfriend’s male friend.

Drug offenses

? Jessica Marie Esparza, 22, of the 1400 block of Sutherland Avenue in Naples, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at 3860 Tollgate Boulevard in Naples and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. She was in her car at the Comfort Inn parking lot with a friend who stood outside and drinking. After speaking with them, deputies searched her car and found cocaine and marijuana.

DUI arrests

? Paul Caricato, 25, of the 5300 block of Berkley Drive in Naples, was arrested Thursday at 350 7th Street North in Naples and charged with driving under the influence and driving under the influence with property damage.

? Jose Antonio Pineda, 37, of the 27000 block of Imperial Oak Drive, Bonita Springs, was arrested Thursday by Fort Myers police in Lee County.

? Michael Leiss, 49, of the 15000 block of Pebble Lane, Fort Myers, was arrested Thursday by Lee deputies near U.S. 41 South and Island Park Drive in Fort Myers.

Grand theft

? Babaro Marquez, 55, who is listed as homeless, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at Walgreens at 6029 Pine Ridge Road in Naples on a charge of grand theft $300 to $5,000. Reports say Marquez stuffed his pockets with cosmetics and left the store without paying.

? Auturo Ramces Montane, 39, who is listed as homeless, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at Wagreens at 6029 Pine Ridge Road in Naples on a charge of grand theft $300 to $5,000. Reports say Montane accompanied a friend who stuffed his pockets with cosmetics and left the store without paying. When deputies approached him he was “very uncooperative,” reports said.

? A bicycle valued at $2,000 was reported stolen Thursday from the 26000 block of Hickory Boulevard in Bonita Springs.

? Fishing rods valued at $1,000 were reported stolen Thursday in Fort Myers Beach by a man who lives in the 28000 block of Del Lago Way in Bonita Springs.

Criminal mischief

? More than $200 in damage was reported Thursday in the 27000 block of Pullen Avenue in Bonita Springs after someone through a rock through the back window of a truck.

Allen Jeffrey Wright, 47, of an unlisted address, was arrested by Collier deputies on Wednesday on charges of domestic battery and child abuse. Deputies say Wright flew into a rage after his wrenches were thrown in the driveway at his girlfriend’s house.

Drug offenses

Noe Dejesus, 27, of the 5000 block of Treetops Lane in Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies on Wednesday on charges of possession of marijuana under 20 grams and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Dejesus was riding with four minors in a car, where deputies say they found open beer containers and a “flake” of marijuana on Dejesus’ shirt.

DUI

? Jamie Lynn Brayton, 32, of the 2700 block of Fountain View Circle in Naples, was arrested Wednesday at 2110 9th St. N. in Naples.

? Kenneth Wayne Langford, 42, of the 200 block of 3rd Street SW in Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies on Wednesday on a charge of DUI, fourth or subsequent, at the intersection of County Barn Road and Davis Boulevard.

? Roderick Terrell Sealy, 35, of the 5200 block of 17th Avenue SW in Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies on Tuesday at the 5200 block of Hawthorn Woods Way.

Theft arrest

Jason M. Toscano, 27, who is listed as homeless, was arrested by Collier deputies on Wednesday on a charge of grand theft auto. Deputies say Toscano stole his ex-girlfriend’s truck months after he took an extra set of keys from her.

Grand theft

Wire valued at $4,000 was reported stolen Wednesday from a closed Hess Mart at 17081 U.S. 41 South in Fort Myers. The wire was stolen sometime in the past month.

? Kassandra Sue Stephens, 19, who Collier deputies listed as homeless in reports, was arrested by Collier deputies Thursday at 1141 15th St. S.W. She was charged with armed burglary of a dwelling, trespassing on property while armed and being a fugitive from justice from Manatee County.

? Virginia Gail Terry, 53, of the 1300 block of Brookside Drive, East Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Thursday at Caloosa Street and Seminole Avenue. She was charged with possessing cocaine and possessing narcotic equipment paraphernalia.

? A cellular telephone and wallet valued at $700 were reported stolen Thursday from a car in the 8900 block of Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs. The owner said the wallet was stolen a week ago and a credit card inside was used at a local department store.

? A computer, electronics, clothes and medication with a total value of $2,300 were reported stolen Thursday from a house in the 16000 block of Pheasant Court in Fort Myers.

Domestic assault arrests

? Louis Eugene Codagnone, 29, of the 11000 block Whistler’s Cove Circle, East Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Thursday at home. Codagnone was charged with battery after reports said he grabbed his girlfriend by the arm and then, after she had gotten away, attempted to chase her down with his car.

Theft arrest

? Heather Marie Lurman, 35, of the 2900 block of 8th Avenue Southeast, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies Thursday at Super Target, 2415 Tarpon Bay Blvd. Lurman was charged with grand theft between $300 and $5,000 after reports said she took about $3,000 items from the store in two separate incidents.

? Serge Joseph, 50, of the 5000 block of Confederate Drive, East Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Friday at home. He was charged with battery/ hitting or touching someone against their will and violating a restraining order, after reports said he went to his ex-wife’s place of work and slapped her during an argument over their daughter.

Assault arrests

? Marcelino Emilio Franciscomatias, 28, of the 300 block of South 6th Street, Immokalee, was arrested by Collier deputies on Saturday at home. Franciscomatias was charged with battery, after reports said he punched his roommate in the face and grabbed his throat threatening to hurt his roommate’s wife and children who were also at the home, police reported. The roommate’s left eye was nearly swollen shut and Franciscomatias smelled of alcohol, reports said.

? Troy Shawn Martin, 31, of the 14800 block of Pleasant Bay Lane, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Marco Island police Saturday near the intersection of Collier Boulevard and Mainsail Drive in Naples. Martin was charged with battery, after reports said he beat up a man in the parking lot of Capt. Brien’s Off the Hook Comedy Club, 599 S. Collier Blvd. Reports said witnesses told police that Martin was among five black men beating on a single white male. Another man in Martin’s car was also arrested, however, his identity was not included in reports released Sunday.

? Bonita Springs man busted for prostitution in March claims exotic dancer stole debit card

Assault of a law enforcement officer

? A 19-year-old Naples woman struck a Collier County sheriff’s deputy, screamed profanities and grabbed the radio from a second deputy’s pocket before she could be handcuffed, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Candice Lakeye Burgess, 19, of the 2000 block of 10 Ave. NE, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer Monday, according to reports.

After she was placed in double-lock handcuffs and put in the back of the police cruiser, she slipped the handcuffs around her legs to the front of her body. Officers had to place a hobble strap around her legs after securing her arms behind her a second time, according to reports.

Deputies earlier had been dispatched to a residence in the 2000 block of 55th Terrace SW where a man was in the back lanai packing belongings and a woman was inside. The suspect was heard screaming from the rear of the house at someone inside. When approached by a deputy, she screamed profanities and broke free from the officer’s grasp. She struck the deputy in the lower lip with a small purse. She also grabbed the radio microphone from a second deputy’s shirt.

Domestic assault arrests

? A 19-year-old Naples woman struck a police officer, screamed profanities and grabbed the radio from a second officer’s pocket before she could be handcuffed, accoridng to Collier sheriff’s office.

Shaun Patrick Cassidy, 40, of the 1000 block of Clark Court, Naples, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence by sheriff’s deputies Monday, according to arrest reports. His live-in girlfriend, Deana Newton, had returned to the residence and found her belongings strewn in the bushes and a big kitchen knife stuck in the wood on the front porch. He grabbed her by the neck and she was able to break free.

DUI arrests

? Aurelie Catherine Shuleshko, 61, of the 25000 block of Ballycastle Court, Bonita Springs, was arrested Monday by Lee deputies near U.S. 41 South and Pelican’s Nest Drive in Bonita Springs. She was charged with DUI/first offense.

? Timothy Wayne Weichert, 36, of the 10000 block of Tangerine Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Tuesday by Lee deputies near Spruce Road and San Carlos Boulevard in Fort Myers. He was charged with driving without a valid motorcycle license endorsement, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of cocaine and carrying a concealed weapon/brass knuckles.

Grand theft

? An air hammer and fishing rods with a total value of $700 were reported stolen Tuesday from an open garage in the 11000 block of Cherry Street in Bonita Springs.

Priest was charged with battery and petit theft under $100, after reports said he forcebly twisted his girlfriend’s arm during an argument and then made off with the keys to her car.

? Joseph Edwards Nichols, 50, of the 13000 block of Hamilton Harbor Drive South, North Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Saturday. Nichols was charged with DUI of alcohol or drugs and possessing no more than 20 grams of marijuana, a one-hitter pipe and a bottle of Rush liquid incense, from which vapors can be inhaled as a drug.

DUI arrest

? Carlos Martinez Gonzalez, 27, of the 500 block of Ninth Street North, Immokalee, was arrested by Collier deputies Saturday at the intersection of Immokalee Drive and Escambia Street. He was also charged with not having a valid driver’s license.

Domestic violence arrest

? Christopher Martinez, 25, of the 400 block of John Jimmie Boulevard, Immokalee, was arrested by Collier deputies Saturday after a report said Martinez pulled a woman by the hair and punched her in the face several times.
