? Hunter Jeremy Elder, 21, of the 24000 block of Deitz Drive, Bonita Springs, was arrested Monday by Lee deputies at Kmart, 3302 Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs. He was charged with petty theft/second offense. He is accused of taking two shirts valued at $11.98 each, removing the price tags and putting them inside his other clothes.

Man suspected of stealing liquor from former employer

Domestic assault arrests

? Kristina N. Ramirez, 23, of the 100 block of Kathy Lane, East Naples, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Thursday. She and her live-in boyfriend got into a verbal argument about her coming home late from school. She started packing belongings to leave and he followed her outside. Witnesses say they saw her slap her boyfriend with an open hand across his face.

? Allen Bernard Richman, 75, of the 1000 block of Tarpon Bay Drive, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at his home Thursday. Richman and his wife got into an argument over him not being able to read a telephone number on a Blackberry and his wife tried to help. That led to them bringing up an argument from a few days earlier involving their dog. He grabbed her by the neck and she hit him in the stomach. He pushed her down on a chaise lounge and tried to hit her.

Grand theft

? James J. Altidor, 22, of the 10000 Whistler’s Cove Circle, East Naples, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Thursday on suspicion of grand theft auto. Deputies were called to the apartment complex in reference to a stolen scooter. The suspect was seen driving the scooter with a female passenger sitting on his lap.

DUI arrests

? Cicilio Amador, 62, of the 3000 block of Francis Ave., East Naples, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Friday at 10th Street North and Fifth Avenue North.

? Edgar Alexander Soriano, 25, of the 300 block of Dexter Drive, Fort Myers, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies at Exit 101 off Interstate 75. Reports say Soriano was driving southbound on the interstate in a dark SUV, weaving all over the road and driving only 25 mph, deputies reported.

? Glenda S. Thackston, 52, of the 1000 block of Serenity Circle, Naples, was arrested Friday by sheriff’s deputies near U.S. 41 North and Wiggins Pass Road.

? Dana Jo Haberkern, 38, 1000 block of Naples Circle Drive, was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol deputies at U.S. 41 E. near Price Street. Haberkern had crashed her black Jaguar. Her blood alcohol level was 0.288, according to reports.
