DUI arrests

? Joshua Hurley, 30, of the 1900 block of Visland Avenue in North Naples, was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol officers on the southbound ramp of the Interstate 75 and Pine Ride Road interchange on Monday and charged with DUI, driving under a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and refusal to submit to submit to a urine test.

Battery arrests

? James Larry Tackett, 58, of the 8100 block of Albatross Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Monday by Lee deputies at home. He was charged with battery/domestic violence. He is accused of pushing his wife, causing her to fall into a dresser and then to the floor.

Drug arrests

? Darrel Priestly, 27, of the 500 block of 107th Avenue North in North Naples was arrested by Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Monday night at the corner of Flamingo Avenue and Vanderbilt Drive in North Naples and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

? Theophilus Malcom Washington, 17, of the 12000 block of Rock Brook Run, Fort Myers, was arrested Monday by Fort Myers police in Lee County. He was charged with possessing less than 20 grams of marijuana, illegally possessing a firearm by a minor, fleeing law enforcement officers, leaving the scene of a crash resulting in property damage, grand theft auto and driving without a valid license.

Grand theft arrests

? Christopher Emmanuel Nash Jr., 17, of the 7300 block of Penzance Boulevard, Fort Myers, was arrested Monday by Fort Myers police in Lee County. He was charged with grand theft, resisting a loss prevention officer and robbery/home invasion.

? Ryan C. Baumgart, 26, of the 9200 block of Coach House Lane, Estero, was arrested Monday by Lee deputies in Lee County. He was charged with dealing in stolen property and false declaration of ownership to a pawn broker. He is accused of stealing jewelry in October from a house in the 6000 block of Sand Trap Drive in Estero.

? Jessica Nicole Hincapie, 28, of the 15000 block of Upwind Drive, Bonita Springs, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies in the 21000 block of Stoneybrook Golf Boulevard in Estero. She was charged with disorderly conduct/brawling, fighting.

? Dustin Joseph Tarvin, 20, of the 17000 block of Johnstown Court, Fort Myers, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies near Miller and Morris Roads in Fort Myers. He was charged with leaving the scene of a crash resulting in property damage.

? Calvin Pettrey, 52, of Painesville, Ohio, was arrested Saturday by Marco Island Police in the 1000 block Anglers Cove in Marco Island. He was charged with burglary.

? Leland Thomas Jr., 44, homeless, was arrested Sunday by Collier deputies in the 200 block Boston Avenue, Immokalee. He was charged with two counts of trespassing and two counts of possession of a harmful new legend drug without a prescription.

? Alfonso Matyises, 38, address unknown, was arrested Saturday by Collier deputies at the Hess station, 11655 Collier Blvd. He was charged with resisting law enforcement, trespassing and theft under $100.

Grand theft arrests

? Douglas Jay Purvis, 22, of the 10000 block of Akron Place, Fort Myers, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies in Lee County. He was charged with using an anti-shoplifting device and two counts of grand theft.

? Herode St. Pierre, 29, of the 4500 block Coral Palms Lane, Golden Gate, was arrested Sunday by Collier deputies at home. He was charged with grand theft auto, obtaining property by impersonation and fraud by obtaining property worth less than $20,000.

DUI arrests

? Dian K. Lane, 59, of the 28900 block Vermillion Lane, Bonita Springs, was arrested Sunday by Florida Highway Patrol at the North Collier Hospital. She was charged with DUI and damage to property with personal injury after she was involved in a traffic accident at Immokalee Road and Juliet Boulevard.

? Paul D. McCallion, 49, of the 9400 block of Springview Loop, Estero, was arrested Friday by Lee deputies near Stoneybrook Golf Boulevard and Courts in Estero. He was charged with DUI with a blood alcohol content of more than 0.15.

? Claude Esperence, 40, of the 11000 block of Whistlers Cove Boulevard, Naples, was arrested Friday by Florida Highway Patrol troopers. He additionally was charged with refusing to take a DUI test.

? Christopher Michael Lameo, 18, of the 6600 block of Crestridge Loop, Fort Myers, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies near Six Mile Cypress Parkway and Plantation Road. He was additionally charged with driving while license suspended possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a person younger than 21 years old.

? Javier Ayala, 33, of the 5000 block of Southwest 2nd Court, Naples, was arrested Sunday by Florida Highway Patrol troopers in Lee County.

? Brian William Markowski, 28, of the 8800 block of Woodgate Manor Court, Fort Myers, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies near Lakeridge Road and South Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers.

? Myrlande Altema, 30, of the 14600 block of Chickee Drive, East Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies on Sunday at home. She was charged with slapping her boyfriend, pushing him out of the house and locking the door.

DUI arrests

? Seth Ferzacca Runyon, 22, of the 4600 block of Third Avenue Northwest, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies on Sunday at the intersection of Immokalee Road and Collier Boulevard.

Domestic assault arrests

? Joel Neftali Perez Cardona, 20, of an undisclosed numeric on Honer Avenue, Bonita Springs, was arrested Wednesday by Lee deputies at the Lee County Jail. He was arrested on a capias warrant on a charge of sexual assault by a person older than 18 on a person younger than 12 years old. Details were not immediately available.

? Virginia Lea Clark, 22, of the 4000 block of Dorando Drive, Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Wednesday at home. Clark was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, after reports said she stabbed her live-in boyfriend with a pair of scissors.

? James K. Johnston, 28, of the 2000 block of 50th Terrace S.W., Golden Gate, was arrested by Collier deputies Wednesday at home. Johnston was charged with obstruction of justice and battery/ intentionally causing bodily harm after reports said a verbal argument between him and his girlfriend became physical. Reports said Johnston also took away the woman’s cell phone, to stop her from calling law enforcement.

DUI arrests

? Daisy Nicolas Baltazar, 20, of the 300 block of S. High Tower Avenue, Lehigh Acres, was arrested by Naples police Wednesday near the intersection of Seventh Avenue North and U.S. 41 North. She was also charged with possession of alcohol by someone under 21.

? Guillermo Ortiz Juarez, 30, of the 500 block of 102nd Avenue N., North Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday near the 500 block of 100th Avenue N. Ortiz Juarez was also charged with DUI damage to property or person and leaving the scene of an accident/ leaving an unattended vehicle at the scene of an accident.

Drug arrests

? Israel Joe Gutierrez, 34, of the 3000 block of 47th Terrace S.W., Golden Gate, was arrested by Collier deputies Tuesday near the intersection of Pine Street and Jackson Avenue. Gutierrez was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of narcotics paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.

? Ariel Nicole Loder, 19, of the 17000 block of Butler Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Wednesday by Fort Myers police in Lee County. She was charged with possession of paraphernalia, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of an illegal open container of alcohol.

? Justin EdgarleeNichols, 19, of the 3000 block of 35th Avenue West, Bradenton, was arrested by Collier deputies Wednesday near Interstae 75’s mile marker 99. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a new legend drug without perscription.

? Jorge Arturo Reyes Carrera, 25, of 1116 Hickock Lane, Immokalee, was arrested Monday by Collier deputies at the intersection of North 15th Street and Lake Trafford Road. He was charged with grabbing the neck of his girlfriend of eight months and punching her in the face, causing her to pass out. He was also charged with petit theft, after she said he stole her cell phone.

? Hugo Lacaro, 20, of 2250 Washington Ave., East Naples, was arrested Monday by Collier deputies at his home. He was charged with placing his hand on the chest of his live-in girlfriend, who is pregnant, in order to prevent her from leaving the house.

? Lavonte Dale, 24, of 507 Palm Ridge Drive, Immokalee, was arrested Tuesday by Collier deputies at 601 W. Delaware Ave., Unit D-20. He was charged with burglary with assault and with grand theft after his ex-girlfriend told deputies he kicked in the door to her apartment, entered, slammed her head against a wall and stole her cell phone.

? Stephanie Nicole Smith, 23, of the 27000 block of Tierra del Sol Lane, Bonita Springs, was arrested Tuesday by Lee deputies at home. She was charged with hitting her boyfriend.

DUI arrests

? Whitney Elizabeth Burgos, 23, of 3019 52nd St. S.W., Golden Gate, was arrested Tuesday by Collier deputies at 1998 Santa Barbara Blvd.

? Frank James English, 40, of Aurora, Ill., was arrested Monday by Collier deputies at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Gulf Park Drive.

? Gerard Paul McLoughlin, 33, of 1078 Highlands Drive, Naples, was arrested Tuesday by Naples police at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Palm Circle East.

? Susan M. Savage, 49, of 1586 Weybridge Circle, North Naples, was arrested Tuesday by Collier deputies at the intersection of Imperial Golf Course Boulevard and U.S. 41 North. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, Xanax.

? Edward M. Wilcox, 65, of the 18000 block of Oriole Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Tuesday by Lee deputies near U.S. 41 South and Sanibel Road in Fort Myers.

Drug arrest

? A 15-year-old girl who lives in the 11000 block of Safari Drive, Bonita Springs, was arrested Tuesday by Fort Myers police in Lee County. She was charged with possession a controlled substance without a prescription.

Other arrests

? Stephanie Denise Sims, 31, of the 3400 block of Michigan Avenue; Felicia Sims, 35, of the 3200 block of Stella Street; and Collett Atkins, 33, of the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue; all of Fort Myers, were arrested Tuesday by deputies in Lee County. The Sims were each charged with felony shoplifting/coordinating with others. Atkins was charged with shoplifting. They are accused of stealing items from Bealls Outlet and Dollar General stores in the 18000 block of U.S. 41 South, Fort Myers, and from Ross Dress for Less in the 8000 block of Mediterranean Drive in Estero.

? Pamela Jean Kruse, 41, of the 9500 block of Brookville Court, Fort Myers, was arrested Tuesday by Lee deputies at home. She was arrested on a Collier County warrant accusing her of battery.

Prostitution arrests

Seven people were arrested Thursday and charged with soliciting prostitution in Fort Myers. Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Street Crimes Unit conducted a sting near South Cleveland Avenue after citizens had complained. The following were arrested: Barbarita Araujo, 39, Fort Myers; Patricia Esdelle, 20, Fort Myers; Valerie Earl, 49, Fort Myers; Lorenzo Cornejo, 63, Fort Myers; James Fyffe, 55, Address Unknown; Rebecca Fontes, 39, Cape Coral; Dannielle Zinderman, 35, Fort Myers.

Domestic violence arrest

Jeffery Glen Anderson, 49, of the 4600 block of Bayshore Drive, East Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Wednesday in the 2800 block of Thomasson Drive. He was charged with battery after a report said a witness saw him push his wife into a telephone pole. He was also charged with resisting arrest after he drove from the scene when deputies arrived. When they pulled him over, he flailed his arms and deputies used a taser to control him.

Battery arrest

John Edward Evenson, 47, of the 2300 block of Niagara Lane, North Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Thursday at his home and charged with battery on law enforcement officers. Evenson kicked and elbowed deputies as they tried to place him in the patrol vehicle. He was also charged with resisting arrest.

Drug arrest

? Ranisha Lasha Knowles, 24, of the 4500 block of 19th Place Southwest, Golden Gate, and Garrick Gerard Johnson, 28 of the 4300 block of 17th Avenue Southwest were arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at the intersection of 17th Place Southwest and 44th Terrace Southwest. Knowles was charged with possession of oxycodone and possession with intent to sell. Johnson was charged with possession of oxycodone. They attempted to trade eight pills for 3.5 grams of cocaine with an undercover detective.

? Corey Perry Williams, 18, of the 19000 block of Ocala Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Thursday by Lee deputies at home. He was charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and on failing to appear on a violation of probation for driving without a valid license.

DUI arrests

? Enrique Manzo, 33, of the 2600 block of Holly Avenue, East Naples, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at the intersection of Golden Gate and Everglades boulevards.

? Cheryl Ann Wagner, 49, of the 6200 block of Wilshire Pines Circle, North Naples, was arrested Thursday by Collier deputies at the intersection of Wilshire Lakes Boulevard and Vanderbilt Beach Road. It was her second offense. She was also charged with refusing to submit to a breath or urine test.

? Alan Jack Biren, 61, of the 10000 block of Mirasol Drive, Fort Myers, was arrested Thursday by Lee deputies in Lee County.

? Erik L. Maritnez, 31, of the 27000 block of Pullen Avenue, Bonita Springs, was arrested Thursday by Lee deputies in Lee County.

Other arrests

Angel Junior Pino, 19, of the 100 block of Osprey Landing, Naples, was arrested Thursday by Cape Coral police in Lee County. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.

Battery arrests

? William Charles Bruce Jr., 26, of the 13000 block of Parkcrest Boulevard, Fort Myers, was arrested Saturday by Cape Coral police in Lee County. He was charged with battery/domestic violence and criminal mischief of less than $200.

? Gerard Joseph Tortora, 44, of the 26000 block of Sherwood Lane, Bonita Springs, was arrested Monday by Lee deputies at home. He was charged with battery/domestic violence. He is accused of scratching and hitting his girlfriend.

Drug arrest

? Brad Ellery Pegler, 18, of the 18000 block of Riccardo Court, Fort Myers, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies in the 27000 block of Hickory Boulevard in Bonita Springs. He was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver, illegally having an open container of alcohol and possession of liquor by a person younger than 21 years old.

DUI arrest

? Mario Duenez-Perales, 48, of the 1300 block of South Apple Street, Immokalee, was arrested by Collier deputies on Sunday at the intersection of Immokalee Drive and Taylor Street. He was also charged with DUI with property damage and leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.

? Pedro Gil Flores, 49, of the 1300 block of Limpkin Road, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies on Sunday at the intersection of Immokalee Road and Sanctuary Road.

? Raul Porras-Landeros, 41, of Fort Myers, was arrested by Collier deputies on Sunday near the Immokalee Road exit on Interstate 75.

? Kelli Jean Smith, 46, of the 700 block of Seventh Avenue North, Naples, was arrested by Naples police on Sunday in the 700 block of U.S. 41.

? Jonas Fabien, 32, of the 4300 block of Jefferson Lane, East Naples, was arrested by Florida Highway Patrol troopers on Sunday on White Boulevard.

? Alexis Ann Perry, 24, of the 21000 block of Sheridan Run, Estero, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies near Ben Hill Griffin Parkway and Corkscrew Road in Estero.

? Brandon Scott Lucas, 231, of the 12000 block of Mastique Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers, was arrested Sunday by Florida Highway Patrol troopers in Lee County.

? Eduardo Benitez, 32, of the 18000 block of Linden Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies in Lee County.

? Jeffrey B. Zalewski, 46, of the 9000 block of Pineapple Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies in front of his home.

? John Edward Dolan, 70, of the 12000 block of Londonderry Lane, Bonita Springs, was arrested Friday by Lee deputies at home. He was charged with battery/domestic violence. He is accused of punching his stepson in the face.

? Jesse William Sexton, 39, of the 8000 block of Cypress Drive North in Fort Myers, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies at home. He was charged with two counts each of battery/domestic violence and domestic violence by strangulation. He is accused of hitting and choking his wife and her sister.

DUI arrests

? Andrew Thomas Frields, 21, of the 8000 block of Anhinga Road, Fort Myers, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies near Alico Road and Ben Hill Griffin Parkway in Fort Myers.

? Brian Patrick Gear, 46, of the 14000 block of Canaan Drive, Fort Myers, was arrested Sunday by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers in Lee County. He was charged with boating under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

? Jessican Ann Godwin, 34, of the 3000 block of Plantation Way, East Naples, was arrested by Collier deputies Sunday near the intersection of Immokalee and Airport-Pulling roads.

? Edward Lee Griffin, 53, of the 2000 block of 28th Avenue S.E., Golden Gate Estates, was arrested by Collier deputies Saturday near the intersection of 28th Avenue S.E. and Everglades Boulevard. Griffin was also charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and carrying a concealed weapon.

? Gary F. Harrington, 53, of the 10000 block of Sea Coral Court, Bonita Springs, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies near Felts and Wilson Roads in Bonita Springs.

? Cody Robert Hilton, 20, of the 24000 block of Golden Eagle Lane, Bonita Springs, was arrested Saturday by Lee deputies near Noel and Cockelshell Roads in Bonita Springs. He also was charged with driving without a valid license.

Drug arrests

Matthew Lee Rangel, 27, of the 28000 block of Dovewood Court, Bonita Springs, was arrested Sunday by Lee deputies in Lee County. He was charged with two counts of selling cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, park or church, four counts of possession of cocaine with the intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a school, park or church, and one count of trafficking in cocaine.

Drug arrests

? James Earl Bryant, 36, of the 3800 block of Coconut Circle South, was arrested Wednesday by Collier deputies in the 1400 block of Golden Gate Parkway. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, one count of possession of an opium derivative and two counts of possession of narcotic paraphernalia.

? Dale Duane Romberg Sr., 69, of the 2500 block of Manorca Avenue, Naples, was arrested Wednesday by Lee deputies near Driftwood and Terry Streets in Bonita Springs. He was charged with possession of not more than 20 grams of marijuana.
